ESAB Corp. to acquire the welding business of Linde Bangladesh

ESAB Corp., North Bethesda, Md., has entered into an agreement to acquire Linde Industries Private Limited (LIPL), a provider of welding consumables and equipment in Bangladesh.

“LIPL is our third acquisition this year as we accelerate our compounding journey,” said Shyam P. Kambeyanda, president/CEO of ESAB Corp. “Bangladesh is a fast-growing and attractive market, and the LIPL acquisition further strengthens our ability to serve our end markets and customers in the region.”

The acquisition is expected to close later this year subject to shareholder approvals and closing conditions.
