Worth County Carbon Pipeline Inspector Raises Payment Questions – Mix 107.3 KIOW

The Worth County Board of Supervisors were faced with a problematic situation imposed on them by the Iowa Utilities Commission. The county must have an inspector who will review all construction of the pipeline in the county. Where the problem lies in is how this will be paid. Chairman A. J. Stone first proposes a review of the measure, but Supervisor Enos Loberg explained that the payment schedule has conflicts associated with it.

The county has appointed their inspector for the lines, but how the payments will be handled remain in question. The board wants some clarity on how all of this will be handled according to Loberg.

Stone agreed saying that the county needed to have the inspector.
